Primed Left Wing Ribs

I am still experimenting with the rattle can primer. I had a couple of cans left over from NAPA. So I decided to use them on the ribs. It takes about two cans per wing. I do think the SEM self etch is a better product though. It lays on much smother.

Here is a shot of the 709 front ribs after priming. If you look really close you can see where the blue sharpie marker shows through the primer. This is real handy for identification of the parts.

This ribs have been primed. Next step is to rivet them to the spar.
