Rear Spar Deburring and Trimming
So I started the rear spars today. I laid everything out and marked each piece.

I used my debur wheel and el cheapo grinder from Harbor Freight to debur the edges of the spars.

The dremel comes in handy for things like the aileron push through holes. I got this little scotch brite wheel at Home Depot.

The ends of the stiffeners have to be trimmed down for the RV7-7a. I marked them according to the plans.

Tip - To save some time, cleco the two parts together and cut them with a band saw at the same time. I also polished the edges on the grinding wheel while they were clecoed together.

For the inside of the forked area, I clamped everything in a vise and used a file. This actually went really quick. I polished everything with some emery cloth and scotch brite afterwards.

The W-707E must be cut out to match the aileron cutout on the spar. I traced the shape and used a unibit to remove most of the material. I will pick up some sort of grinding bit at Home Depot for my dremel to finish these off.
