Cutting Fiberglass Tips / Layed Out Wing Spar
I spent almost two hours messing around with the fiberglass tips on the elevators, HS, rudder and VS. I have them all trimmed and ready to fiberglass and rivet. I need to make an order to Aircraft Spruce for some resin. I moved the tail out of the way and layed out the spars in preparation to countersink the fuel tank attach nutplates.
Here I have the right spar clamped in place ready to drill. The plans say to countersink the nutplate holes with a #30.
